没有水的温泉
在一个隆冬的夜里上海的人们被一股酷暑的热浪怔住了！ 奔走相告之际才知道那是因为2012年的第一场ICA上海同学聚餐正在五观堂里如火如茶的进行着。十名热情扬溢，散发着友爱的同窗们共叙友谊，同贺新年。难能可贵的是我们的老师Maria也远从芬兰来到上海与大家相聚。”百闻不如一见“是因为有这样的场合才发明的！
初为人父的伟扬因为得回家里照料妻儿所以不能参与但他还是情重意重的专程过来看望大家把新年的祝福一一献上才又风尘扑扑的往家里奔。Jenny佳人与Christina美女虽业务繁重但也秉承“迟到好过不到”的精神战胜时间临时赶至。James点的四角豆烧饼让大伙彻底的领悟了“食髓知味”的“搀念”。结果大伙儿决定续盘。餐饮业大将婉美对大家的战斗力也俯首称臣！Julian前辈魅力依旧，上至教练，下至学习，天马行空，无所不谈。席间在大家的谈笑风声，举杯互敬中也不忘为新的同学们鼓励护持。新进的同学Helen在美味佳肴与精神粮食交替吸收的同时也消化着ICA的氛围。Emerson, 这位替太太来“探路”的好先生时而涉足其间，时而观望在外。次日携妻一起加入ICA的学习。”执子之手，与子偕老“也应该是为了这样的情意发明的！
夜深人逐之时（大伙儿待到店家屡下逐客令）感性的巧姑娘Minna（Maria的女儿）缅典的说：“这个聚会就象没有水的温泉！”。十岁的姑娘最为纯真。一鸣惊人的评语让大家又惊又喜。惊的是十岁的人儿竟能说出那么有哲理的评语，喜的是每次的交流都确是赋予大家去丰润灵感泉源的能量，温暖了每颗赤子之心。今年的冬天亦常的热！

Waterless Hot Spring! – ICA Shanghai student/alumni 1st dinner gathering in 2012 (04 Jan ’12)
Deep into a wintry nite, the city of Shanghai was ambushed by an unusual heat wave. The surprised citizen later realized that it was because the first ICA student/alumni gathering in 2012 was taking place. The warmth and camaraderie radiated by the students/alumni was phenomenal! Ten of our students/alumni came together to catch up and celebrate the new year. Highlight of the gathering was to have our learning leader, Maria Gu flown in all the way from Finland to meet and dine with us.
Although he was not able to join us, Wai Yeong, our classmate who has recently became the father of a lovely boy, specially drop by to send his best wishes to everyone before rushing home to tend to his young family. Our high executives, Jenny and Christina were bustling with their work but empowered by the spirit of “Better late than never” both managed to arrived in the nick of time after their over time at work. James was the gourmet among us who has ordered a dish of baked dough with stirred fried legume fillings that was so delicious that we had to ask for a second serving. The group’s power to devour impressed even the greatest of all F&B expert (Edwige). Our alumni Julian, the charm of the gathering were as humorous and learned as always sharing about coaching, continuous learning and almost any and every thing in the universe.
Between cheering, toasting and feasting, the group was also supporting our new classmate in particular Helen who has just recently enrolled. This being her first meeting with ICAers, Helen were absorbing in all the sight, smell and sound of the ICAers’ culture. Emerson, a great gentleman who were tasked to suss out ICA for his better half were immersed into the conversation at one time and by-standing at others. The following day, he enroll both himself and his wife into the coaching program. Such is the power of love and togetherness!
In the shadow of the threats from the restaurant staff to throw us out (we stayed way passed the closing hour), Minna (Maria’s daughter) in her shy wisdom said: “This gathering is like a waterless hot spring!”. Such appraisal is pure & true coming from a young soul. We were pleasantly shocked by her philosophical comment and warmed by the spring of joy, inspiration and positive energy we take away from the gathering. It’s a waterless hot spring indeed!
