When did you start learning ICA program? what motivated you?
I started with ICA September 2011. I knew I wanted to find a reputable coach training company to equip myself with essential coaching skills. I searched on the web and found ICA very suitable to my need. First of all, I like the idea of “No Single Model” because I yet to find any coaching models developed by other companies speak to my heart. With ICA, I would be able to develop my own coaching model. Secondly, there are business development related courses provided at ICA. This is the area I knew I could benefit the most. Last but not least, ICA community has a variety of coaching niches. I believe I could learn and share a lot more information within ICA than other coach training companies who specialize more on Executive Coaching.
When did (will) you graduate from ICA program? what drive you?
I plan to graduate in 2013.
How have you blended (will you blend) your previous / current expertise into coaching?
My previous career was in human resources management in a corporate environment. Coaching was the part I enjoy the most. I also studied Organizational Psychology in my graduate school. All these plus my recent experience (bouncing back from a life trauma) provided a solid base for my passion and comfort in pursuing a coaching career.
Your dream about coaching (profession / business / practices)?
I am a native Chinese who received higher education in the west. Coaching is still a young industry in China. I want to combine the wisdom in Eastern philosophies and western psychology, provide coaching to woman who are going through life changes in China, help them reach their fullest potential, live a fearless life.
How are you enjoying your life now?
I practice Yoga and meditation every day. I can start my day with good energy and a sense of peace which is so crucial living in a bustling city like Hong Kong.
